Parking in a Missouri drivewayWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri I recently returned from overseas. My car is waiting for me in Missouri. I'd like to leave it in Missouri, parked in my mother's driveway, for a period. I'd rather not register it in Missouri, as I live in Illinois. I'd rather not register it in Illinois as I have no place to keep it. I'd like to avoid getting parking tickets... Is it legal for an unregistered car to be parked indefinitely in a driveway? It won't leave the driveway at all. I have no plans to drive it. At most, it will be turned on for the battery. Thanks! |

| Any vehicle brought into Missouri from out of state must be licensed within 30 days. Perhaps if it was parked in a garage or under a tarp where prying eyes cannot see the status of the licensing at that time.
