parking ticket but no driveway

What is the name of your state?MI

I live on a street that requires no parking during trash removal (for about 4 hours on Tuesdays). However, I do not have a driveway to keep any on my vehicles on. My husband and I both work on Tuesdays and it is difficult sometimes to get home to move the third vehicle we own. Is there something we can do about this? It just does not seem fair to issue a ticket to someone who is unable to store their vehicle. Please help.
