Parking ticket for not displaying hangtag in my own space

Colorado.

I recently (with 5 days) received a ticket for not displaying my hangtag while parking in my space that i rent. The car that was issued the ticket is registered to the spot. The hangtag fell down in my car and i received a ticket. It is through a private company. When i asked them where to send proof of my lease and hangtag, proving that i rent the space and the car that was issued the ticket is in fact registered to that spot, they told me they wouldn't void it and i had to pay up in 10 days. I asked for a contact number to appeal the ticket, they told me no and that i needed to pay up immediately. Is there anything i can do? It is a $75 ticket, i am paying monthly to rent in that lot. I asked the company that i rent the space from and they told me there is nothing i can do. This is outragous, am i not by law allowed to appeal a ticket even through a private company? Thanks.

When you began renting the space, did you sign any sort of contract? If so, what does it say on the matter?
