parking ticket with wrong make of carI am in NJ. I got a double parking ticket but just noticed that my plates are correct but the make of the car is incorrect. My vehicle is a Mercury and the ticket says "Mazda". Is that dismissable? |

Did you own a Mazda in the past, and not transfer the plates? |

parking ticket with wrong make of carI was wondering how you made out. My son has a similar situation and I was wondering if his would be dismissible. |

| The wrong make of car is not a fatal error, it does not prevent you from providing a valid defense to the ticket. The error will be corrected when you point it out.

| well haven't been to court yet it's on friday. but tryin to figure out if it's worth going. Never had a mazda before. The tickets in Newark, NJ are hand-written. Even the location that the officer put on the ticket was incorrect. He put it down as though i was in 181 of that block when i was really at 161. That's probably not good enough either but the fact that it says Mazda and my vehicle is Mercury isn't valid enough i guess? Thanks |
