Parking tickets from 5 years ago

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I got 3 tickets while working in downtown Santa Cruz, CA. They were for expired meters. I never paid the tickets.

Since that time, I registered my truck out of state with a new set of plates. Then I moved back to CA and registered it again with new plates once again. So, my truck has changed plates twice since the tickets were issued.

Do I still have to pay them? I don't even have the tickets anymore.

What makes you think you aren't still responsible for the tickets?

Yes, you're legally required to pay them. And, even if YOU lost the tickets...computers can keep track of things for a LONG LONG time!
