Parking Tickets and Insurance

Seattle, WASHINGTON.
I'm glad I found this place because I'm in need of some information. Go figure. I have a parking ticket for parking in a no parking zone. Now my concern is how does this affect my insurance or does it even? Will there be a tag on my insurance now saying that I have a ticket? I could just wait to see later on down the line if my insurance changes but I'm just worried and wondering. Any kind of advice/ info would be greatful. Thanks.

Parking tickets are non moving violations and have no effect on your insurance rates.

Even though it does not affect my insurance rates will it show up on the insurance in any way?

**A: why are you asking? What is your record?

Unless the issuer of the parking tickets decides to take further action, usually due to a large number of unpaid parking tickets, they will not go on your driving record. The city of Seattle is very lax in their collection efforts, some folks have a large number of unpaid tickets and very little is done to them.

actually....

Well my record isn't that bad. I've gotten two parking tickets in the past and just recently I got another, and I have paid them all in the correct time. But I don't get to see what my true rates are because I'm 17 and I only pay through my parents. I just want to know if they see the tickets or if they even effect payments.
p.s. my parents prob wont tell me if they go up but i want to know so i can pay them correctly.
