Exclamation

Please Helppppp!!!!!

What is the name of your state? Michigan

I was given a choice to pay a fee of $75 on the spot or have my vehicle impounded for parking in the parking lot! One of the officers on duty; Ms. Mason claimed that I was "blocking cars" when in all actuality they is NO assigned parking nor is there any correct form of parking. However, Officer Mason was not the officer who was asking for the payment of $75. The parking lot in question has NO parking lines in it and is currently all gravel and mud. There is not a single "NO PARKING" sign posted anywhere in the lot!!! There is a parking attendant in the structure who had no complaints about how cars were being parked. The 12th precinct officers told me (and many others) that I had to pay $75 or my car would be impounded. However, my vehicle was never attached to any tow truck. The tow truck company (A C Towing) requested my $75 without giving me any formal documentation! I actually had to demand a receipt! I asked a officer if I could receive a parking ticket instead of paying for the tow truck services that I did not use. The officer declined in a harsh manner and took off to collect payment from another vehicle. I would like for this incident to be further investigated because of the punishment i received for the unjust actions. These actions were taken against me and about 5 others! The only answer that officer Mason could give me for this unjust treatment was that they (officers) are "tired of late night calls of the chaos that happens at Henrys Palace" and "somebody had to be made an example of, I apologize it had to be you.)I on the other hand am tired of the late night harassment by detroit police outside of Henrys Palace. There should not be more police cars in one parking lot than there is in a mile radius! I do not believe that I should be punished for others indiscretions!!!

Gather up a bunch of money, hire an attorney and expect it to take about 2 or 3 years to reach a settlement. If you are willing to throw away money over $75, knock yourself out.

Cool

OR...

take pictures of the area supporting what you have stated, and take the towing company to small claims court.
