Schenectady, NY Parking Laws

What is the name of your state? PA

Next year I will be going to Union College in Schenectady, NY. I will need to have a car my freshman year (even though you aren't allowed a car on campus until sophomore year). I plan on bringing my car up and parking it in town somewhere.

I was wondering if anybody could help me find out laws regarding parking in Schenectady. I tried Googling it but to no avail.

Any help would be much appreciated.
