street cleaning supsended and still got a ticket in nyc

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? new york

i was issued a parking ticket on march 8 2013 for alternate street parking. the city suspended alternate side for the 8th and 9th. i went to dispute the ticket today march 14, and was found guilty . The 311 website for new york city clearly states that it was suspended . what should i do?
fyi i dd not bring any picture as evidence. i thought that the judges would have accurate information about suspensions of traffic rules

the judge was aware of the suspension on the 9th why wasnt he aware of the suspension on the 8th. its enough that i had to waste my time even going to court for a ticket that was clearly in error

With such great evidence and that attitude, I can't imagine why you didn't win the first time.

Good news though - you get 30 days from the loss to file your appeal. http://www.nyc.gov/html/dof/html/parking/appeal_hearing.shtml

Bad news - even if you win the appeal, it takes forever to get your refund.

Did you bring a printout of the web page saying that alternate side was suspended?

Try appealing - that is your only option.
