ticket 21801(a) vc violation in CA

What is the name of your state? CA

ticket 21801(a) vc violation in CA

Hello,

I've got ticket 21801(a) vc violation .
I was trying to make safe left turn when cops pull me over. The opposing car was far enough and started to slow down either because driver saw a cop behind me or to let me finish my left turn.
I would appreciate any advice of how to fight this ticket.

Thank you.

Alex

21801. (a) The driver of a vehicle intending to turn to the left or
to complete a U-turn upon a highway, or to turn left into public or
private property, or an alley, shall yield the right-of-way to all
vehicles approaching from the opposite direction which are close
enough to constitute a hazard at any time during the turning
movement, and shall continue to yield the right-of-way to the
approaching vehicles until the left turn or U-turn can be made with
reasonable safety.

Your post pretty much is the definition of Failure to Yield.

You have asked this same question twice 5 days apart and received the same answer. If you would have posted in the correct forum the first time, Speeding and other moving violations, you only would have had to ask once. You asked in the Auto Accidents and Parking tickets forums.
