Seeking advices how to contest ticket & impound on complaint for parking on side street over 72 hours. I live in the building next door, parked on a side street that obstructed NOTHING, car is rarely used, commute by bus, and was on a week business trip when ticketed. Is this fair for enforcing this law? I can't be home to move the car every 72 hours. HELP!!

If you could not be around to move the car then you should have not parked there. Your vehiclewas ticketed and impounded pursuant to the law. You have no grounds to contest the ticket as the reasons that you gve are not exemptions allowed by law.

Keep that in mind when you vote for your next mayor of Seattle. The current city attorney running for mayor is the person that pushed that law through.
