TicketsWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ....I would like to know how do I go about getting tickets either thrown out or have them sent to the person that really got the tickets? About three years ago my kids father and I split up in doing so, he decided to stalk me. In the process all of these tickets started coming in the mail. At the time that was the last thing on my mind, because I had just gotten a Final restraining order against him. When you are being stalked the last thing you are thinking about is that this person is driving around in a car that's in your name. So now i have over $600 dollars in tickets with my name on them but not the person that actually did the violations. Help! |

| Unlike traffic tickets, parking tickets belong to registered owner the the vehicle. There is no legal way to prove anyone else was driving the vehicle. Sorry, the tickets are yours to pay. After you pay them you could sue your ex for the cost, good luck proving he was the person that parked the vehicle.
