this is probably a stupid question but here it goes anyway. i've been parked in a free parking area in my townhouse communtity (ungated). my tags & inspection stickers where out of date. according to one of the ticket DMV issued a officer to come give me a ticket for the out of date tags but the officer also gave me a 2nd ticket of the inspection. i didnt drive my car for the last 3yrs which is the reason y i didnt update my inspection but accidently did update my tags w/ dmv which i know i must pay. was the officer right for giving me that 2nd ticket though i was parked in private property?
