San Francisco, CA
I was cited for CVC 22500(e). I was not blocking the driveway at all nor in the crub cut. I was parked about an inch in the red. The jackass homeowner had my car towed even though he could easily get in and out of his driveway. I have a witness and have done measurements. My car is way shorter than the length of the curb. In doing some research, it seems like the city can only tow (a) if you are at all blocking the driveway; or (b) parked within the curb cuts. There we not public signs stating it was a tow-away zone.
Also, I should have been cited for parking in red zone, not blocked driveway - in my opinion.
Anybody out there have any thoughts?
ThanksWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
