What is the name of your state? California ,I recieved a ticket for over wieght at the Arizona & CA. border scale,Arizona side.My companies policy is to scale out,but they have put gages on alot of the trucks to use to get an idiea about how much wieght you have.Well,my gage got stuck and needless to say,i was over wieght on gross and axle.I gave the ticket to my dispatch,because sometimes my company will pay the ticket.After about four weeks dispatch gives me the ticket back and tells me that i got to pay for the ticket.The trouble is ,they gave me back the ticket a week after my court date.If they would have given me the ticket before my couet date i would have started make payments to the court so would not have to show up for ,just pay the ticket.Now i have a failure to apear and a over wieght for gross and axle ticket.PLEASE HELP-I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO.Thank You.Larry W.

You need to go appear.

You were personally liable for operating overweight.

You were further personally liable to either make sure the ticket was paid before the court date or appear. If the company wants to compensate for your fines when you break the law on company time, that's fine, but you are the one ultimately responsible.
