What is the name of your state? New York Anyone have advice on fighting unlawful speedometer? As one of your previous messages said, the officer thought he was giving me a break, no moving violation. I had just bought a newer car less than a week prior. Is there a way to beat this all together?

So the officer cut you a break and instead of writing you up for speeding, a moving violation, he wrote you up for an equipment violation instead, and now you want to get out of that ticket as well? Good luck.
