v.c. 27156 state ref. ticket in california

hello everyone i recently got a ticket to see a state ref for modified emissions. my question is will this ticket count as a point on my record? also, has anyone went through this personally? what would i expect to pay after correcting this violation? any input is appreciated thank you.
