VA Plates, Parking Ticket in DC (

What is the name of your state? VA
I live in Virgnia, my car plates are of Virginia.
I got a parking ticket in Washington DC for parking in reverse. The sign said BACK IN PARKING ONLY. I parked the other way.

Will DC parking tickets get transferred to my Virgnia plate. Bottomline...do i need to pay for it ..or can I get away.

Please help!!!!!!!
