Vehicle Inspection Trial: Plano, TX

What is the name of your state? Texas

I was pulled over for having an invalid vehicle inspection. The officer stated that because I had a Texas registration, I had to have a Texas inspection (I had a Louisiana inspection). I found out after that if a new vehicle was purchased in another state and was inspected prior to receiving the Texas registration, that inspection is valid until expiration. I go to trial on Thursday, and was told by the judge to make sure I knew how to present evidence. I can't seem to find any information on the proper way to present evidence. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have pictures of the car both before and after the traffic stop, clearly showing the valid inspection certificate, as well as all of the documentation from when the vehicle was purchased.

You: Judge, I want to admit the following into evidence. [Name the stuff.] Here is a copy for the opposing attorney. [Give copies of the stuff to the opposing attorney and the originals to the clerk or bailiff who will hand it to the judge; keep copies for yourself.]

Opposing attorney: I object to the following: [objections].

You: Here are the reasons why they should be allowed: [reasons].

Judge:
Okay, here is my ruling: [ruling].

You: Thank you, your honor.
