What happens if I don't pay a ticket NYC?

What is the name of your state? NY

I was just wondering what happens if I don't pay a number of tickets I got in NYC, and I reported my plates which were from georgia stolen. Would the tickets carry over in my name or are they assigned to the plate in which they were issued.

The tickets will still be on your record. And, if your plates really weren't stolen and you are simply trying to get out of paying the tickets, you will be guilty of at least one additional crime if you report the plates as stolen.
