will VA parking tickets transfer to MD?

What is the name of your state?
Maryland

I am moving to Maryland (Montgomery Co) in two weeks, and would like to know whether parking tickets from Virginia (Arlington Co) will either transfer, or prevent me from registering my vehicle in Maryland until they are paid.

Probably not, but make an anonymous phone call from a payphone to the VA folks and ask them. Be nice: you're dealing with bureaucrats.

What's this I read about unpaid tickets showing up at collection agencies?
