Patent Website Idea?

UK - please help, I'm wondering if it's possible to patent the intellectual property of an idea for a website???

Hmm, I don't recall us annexing you lads across the pond...

US Law only

P.S. You'd be better off with trademark or copyright protections. Research whether business method patents are alllowed in the UK/EU.
