Access to personal belongings

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Minnesota, My mother passed away in December 08 and my Step-Dad passed away August 09. I have personal belonging in their house still that I want to get back. We had agreed on a time period of 6 weeks to get together with my Stepsisters and go to the house. Since then they have cleaned out the house (actually before the funeral happened) and said they have left my belongings alone. They said they would be out of town the weekend we planned on going to the house but an uncle would be there with the key to let us in. Now the day before we were to go up they said we could not go up this weekend to get into the house and collect our belongings. What can I do to get acces to my stuff.

How about have them mail you a key, or hide a key outside. Certainly you can find a way to get your stuff.
