Contact the county courthouse and see if their office has a pamphlet that they distribute to the public about the duties of a personal representative/executor or get a book about it from a local bookstore.

Do an online search in any search engine about "duties of a personal representative" or "duties of an executor" and you will get ideas about what to do.

If you don't have the time or the desire to do it yourself, retain the services of a probate attorney.
