Angry

aghast!!!

What is the name of your state? new york
My question is about my sister's burial plot.
She is at rest and I would like it to stay this way!!
Unfortunately, I have a few nasty and cold-hearted
siblings. Long story short, the actual plot was
purchased by my mother; who is also deceased.
My evil older brother, who was cremated, has not been
laid to rest yet. I was informed by one of my sisters
that they were going to put him on top of my deceased
sister. FYI, this man tried to rape her numerous times!!!!
I do not feel that he deserves to share a plot with her.
She would never be at peace again. None of the 4
surviving children, myself included, were given any special
rights over the other at my mother's passing. Is there any-
thing legally that I can do to stop this injustice??!!!!

Burial rights are a local matter and you should be consulting with a local lawyer about this, or perhaps your city council.
