My boyfriend's Father just past unexpectedly. No will, no life or credit life insuranceon house, his truck did have credit life, owes taxes and other debts. No real assets other than house and truck. Does this really have to go to probate? Family has agreed on personal items. None want the house. Brother of the dad has paid all funeral arrangements and want to be paid asap. Left behind a 7yr son as well. We would like to see if any of estate be paid to a Trust for my boyfriends little brother for college. Welcoming any info or suggestions.
