What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Mexico
Can an excutrix who is also an heir lock the other heir out of the deceased's home then use it for her personal residence even if temporarily? Also if the home has a reverse mortgage on it should it be sold or given back to the mortgage company? My mother, before her death, said the home would automatically revert back to the mortgage company and wouldn't require a sale of the home. The home is probably underwater so there would probably be money that would need to be taken out of the estate what little their is. Thanks.
