My mother passed away, in her will she appointed her attorney as executor of her estate. The state is Colorado. He is charging the estate his regular fee of over $100.00 per hour. I thought an executor in the state of CO could only charge a small percentage. What is the percentage the attorney acting as executor can charge and is that calculated from the total on the inventory? Is there a web site I can find CO law on this?
