What is the name of your state? Nevada
Parent died of divorced parents. This parent never remarried. There was a will, and this parrent lived in another state. A sibling of the parent claimed to be the executor of the estate. All parties of the will are being asked (by the executor) to sign a form stating the estate share for each person is responsible for paying bills owed by the deseced.
My understanding is that the estate already is used for this and the will is executed on the remaining parts of the estate, so why would we be asked to sign a document without being able to see the will?
Should I sign this document without seeing the will? The executor is threating to do nothing until the documents are signed...
