Disbursement of Funds in Ca?

My parent's house that was in probate has sold and my sister the trustee recieved the proceeds and put them into the estate account. All outstanding bills are paid. She is saying it will be at least a month until she can disburse the money because of the Court. Is this true or is she jerking me around? Thanks for any help!!!!

That sounds more than reasonable.

There is more to closing an estate than simply selling the estate property and passing out the money.
