State of Oklahoma
My dad died last month in Oklahoma. He had a trust and everything in the will went into the trust. My sister was guardian and poa. Our attny says we have to go through probate because she wrote checks out of his trust checking account to pay his living expenses before he died and now since he died. I thought the purpose of the trust was to avoid probate. Who is right?
