What is the name of your state? MA

My uncle is the executor of my grandfather's Estate he has not furnished any accounting of the estate ever. My grandfather died in 2000. I have been named my deceased father's heir. My father died 6 months before my grandfather. My grandmother,who has altziemers, is still alive and 1st beneficiary, then my uncle and myself will inherit after her passing.

My question is, can he write checks to anybody in the extended family if he has the power of attorneyfor my grandmother?

Hire an attorney and file an accounting aciton against the executor.
