Facts a bit long... sorry!
Will of decedant names all children entitled to inheritance. Two of the children at the time of death were minors (5 & 3). Supposedly, the instructions were for the executor ( eldest son of decedent) to open accounts where monies were to be deposited and held (in trust?) until the girls were of age to recieve their share of financial assests. Also, there was some real estate property that was left to the minor girls as well, and title was to be held for them, with the executor responsible for property taxes ( to be paid from profits of business jointly shared)
Both girls are now well past the age (18) to recieve inheritance ( 22 and 20) have been attempting to collect or find out specifics regarding accounts. The half brother ( executor) will not disclose any information, only to say that he will liquidate everything and file BK if they take this to court, so either way they will not get a penny. Research has turned up nothing re: accounts/ trusts. The estate was a substantial one.
What rights do the girls have ( considering so many years have passed, however they being minors could not enforce anything) and/or what recourse against the half brother can be taken?
