executor residency requirements

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
new mexico

Can my executor reside in Arizona? I have no options in nm and live in borderland, 2 miles from the NM/AZ line All my medical care and support systems are in Arizona. My DMPOA and PAD agent are Arizona residents. Will NM recognize my representatives?

I don't see any requirement in the Probate Code that the executor be a New Mexico resident.
