My girlfriends mother died 10 months ago, and her father who is the executor has not executed the will yet. Is there a limit to how long the will is good for? Is he legally required to execute the will? Is there a way to force the will to be executed?

Thanks

Tell your girlfriend to open probate herself. The court will want her dad to produce the will.
