What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CONNECTICUT
What does final accounting mean in a probate process? How many accountings does a probated will go through. The consevator and executor of the estate of which I am the other beneficiary (and said executor), went through a final accounting in July. Now that the will has been admitted to probate, he is telling me that bills have come in against the estate. ???? After final accounting? Is there a final accounting for the consevator and then one for the estate?

Refer back to BlondiePB's responses in your other thread. The conservator is required to account for the administration of the ward's estate while the ward was living.

The executor of the probate estate will need to perform an accounting for the administration of the probate estate.
