Holographic wills and probate forms

Are holographic wills required to go through probate in California and if so, what forms are required?

It depends on the value of the assets subject to probate. If over $100k, then yes. If under 100k, there is a short form procedure for realty, and an affidavit procedure for personalty.

If you plan on doing a probate yourself, I suggest buying a "how to" book written specifically for California. The rules, procedures and forms are many, and not easy to discuss in this format.
