The executor and estates atorney have had 3 descriptive list in 3 years with all 3 being wrong.

The heirs want the court to order an external audit of the estate accounting.
Is there a code, article, statue etc that can be quoted when asking the court to order an external audit from an outside source for an estate accounting? The heirs are willing to pay for the external audit that way the estate accounting will be as close to100% accurate. Because right now it's far from accurate.

Or do the heirs only need to file a petition requesting an external audit without quoting any code, article staute etc?
