What is the name of your state? TX

All I received from the Executor was a check.... no details at all. How can I ensure the Executor handled things properly, ie. divided ALL assets and divided them as documented in her will?

Did she even send you a copy of the will?

Go to the county courthouse probate court and look at the probate file--there should be financial records/an accounting in there of how the estate was handled.
