What is the name of your state? AZ

My father in laws will/trust had to go through probate, with my husband as executor. The problem is that our lawyer just withdrew from council and the probate isn't closed.
What do we do now? We already have the letter of appointment and the only items left that need to be distributed are a piece of property and money that we had to put into an estate account. How do we close the probate? Can we do it without retaining another lawyer???
Also, the lawyer still has some original court stamped documents that we have requested, but not yet recieved. (we only have photo copies of these documents) Is he required to give us the originals even after he has withdrawn from council? Can we withhold final payment until said documents are given to us? One of the documents is the original letter of appointment.
