    non-resident executor

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio,
Can a non-resident serve as estate executor in Ohio if he is not a relative nor a beneficiary. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

In Ohio there appears to be no residency requirements for the appointment of an executor of a will.

Ohio statutes do require that in cases of intestacy (no will) the administrator of estate is to be a resident of the state.

In Florida, whether the estate is testate or intestate, a non resident cannot qualify for appoint as the personal representative unless the applicant is the surviving spouse, or related to the deceased by lineal consanguinity or an adopt child.
