What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

If the printed name on a notary stamp is misspelled and does not match that person drivers license or his application to be a notary, is that person valid to notarize documents?

Have you discussed this with the notary?

Notaries must file someplace for a license or a certificate. Call your local library or mayor's office to find out the name of the agency that registers notaries and do an inquiry to see if this notary is licensed/registered to do business in your state or county.

This person is registered. My question was "If the printed name on a notary stamp is misspelled and does not match that person drivers license or his application to be a notary, is that person valid to notarize documents?"

Can anyone answer this question or does anyone know the answer???
