What is the name of your state? Georgia
my father passed Oct last year, with no will and 5 children. 3 children agreed to assign a sibling as an administrator and 2 children don't agree. A petition was filed and the 2 children objected. What is the next step once the hearing occurs? And if the judge still appoints the other sibling as administrator, what can the 2 children who filed a caveat do to make sure they get their share of the estate, even though the administrator will have all the power. The amount is over $100,000 that's properties and money together. Can the 2 objectors appeal the decision or will they have sit and do nothing if the appointed person decides to keep everything for the 3 of them?
