What is the name of your state? Kentucky
My brother has just died intestate.
I have just petitioned the court for "Dispense with Administration as a preferred creditor" of my brother's estate.
His insurance policy has named me 70% beneficiary and his 16 year old daughter 30% beneficiary.
In addition he has a 457 deferred compensation pension fund of which I am 100% beneficiary.
QUESTION:
Is this money liable for any creditors to sue the estate for any oustanding debts? credit cards, vehicle loans, mortgage balances, etc....

Insurance proceeds pass directly outside of the estate and you do not have to pay any of the estate's bills with it.
