Mom put all but house deed in living trust. House will go to probate. Other 2 of 3 siblings have signed statement agreeing to sell house to 3rd sibling (me) for appraised price. If we can show proof of stocks valued at more than house held in trust until after probate, can we buy the house while it's in probate? Want to avoid rising interest rates and value of house going up over next 6 months. Were told could sell to a 3rd party, but not one of us kids??? Also willing to leave house proceeds in trust if we buy it. Can it be done?
