I live in Ohio and a friend recently passed away. Before he died he told me he wanted me to have his boat and house trailer. He signed the titles over to me with a notary present. I had not registered the vehicles prior to his death. His daughter wants them added to the estate. Can I register the vehicles in my name?

Yes. Ownership passed to you at the time he delivered the titles symbolizing his intention to gift them to you. Known as donative intent. So quit sitting on them!
