What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
So this is a little confusing. Last year I was named personal representative to my grandmother's estate. A formal Administration was filed and the estate was discharged earlier this year.

Within the past month a life ins. policy that my grandmother was a benificiary to was found (the policy owner predeaceased my grandmother). In order to file a claim on the policy, the company needs a Summary of Administration issued by the court.

My question is this: can I file a Summary of Administration for my grandmother's estate when it has already been closed out? The amount is nominal, way under the $75,000 limit.

Thanks.
