How does a surety bond work? In my mothers will 100k was to be put aside for children's secondary and college education-the probate court demanded that a bod be placed "on" that sum of $. The time will come in the fall to pay tuition for the children that are now in middle school. What needs to be done regarding accounting -and to what entity, probate court? do I report to?

Are you the person who is going to be acquiring the surety bond or not?

Do a GOOGLE search on the phrase "surety bond" and "Connecticut" and study the results and you will have a better understanding of how they work. Ask the local probate court or an attorney which company is used for bonds in your area so you can contact the company that sells them to ask more questions.

After all this time, the issue had to have been resolved. The person who posted prior to you had his post removed, again, for solicitation.
