What is the name of your state? Texas

I am the administratrix of my parents will. We are in the process of selling their house (they passed last year). This is their only asset. Is there a time limit we have to send payment to each beneficiary? I was told in Texas it is 4 years but I am not sure. Thanks for any help.

Also does anyone know about capital gains taxes ? The house is selling for 140,000 and was appraised by a realtor for 146,900. Do we owe taxes?
Thanks!
