Are there caregiver rights?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IN

Mother in law has just passed. Her husband left a std will [he passed 5 yrs ago] stating siblings to share and share alike. My wife has two sisters.

The only asset is the house where she died and it is paid for in full.

My wife has been the sole caregiver for 16 years as her Mother had Alzheimers throughout that period. For the last 10 yrs, she required full time care [feeding, bathing etc]. My wife is a nursing graduate and provided the best care that money can not buy.

We have a house in the same county but chose to stay with the mother in law instead of commuting constantly in the early stages. In the last years, one of us were required to remain with her 24/7. We did this out of love and respect. The sisters wanted to place her in a nursing home but we allowed her to remain home until the end.

My daughter now stays in our house with her family and we would like to purchase the mother in laws house for our residence.

The question: does the fact that we [my wife and I] provided care for this period give us any 'right' to purchase the house for less than 2/3 of the appraised value?

I expect not but perhaps someone has been down this road previously... PP What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?IN

Yea! Ziggy the Court Jester presiding.
It is not LAW.

Simple answer.... NO!!

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) filed in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.7M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
